"Dalton Flynn was the typical street thug in Victorian England. Raised in the streets as an orphan, he had to resort on robbery and other minor crimes to survive. At the age of 19 he joined a street gang that was growing in the suburbs. It allowed him to experience his first murders.
His skill allowed him climb positions in the hierarchy of the gang very quickly, getting more important assignments and better paid. One of them was to get rid of the mysterious leader of a rival gang, that appeared recently in the suburbs. He failed and was captured, as the overwhelming power of the rival gang was unexpected.
The leader of the rival gang was experienced in the art of the occult and being witnessed the abilities of Dalton, thought of it as the perfect specimen for a certain ritual he had in mind. It would allow him to control the thug's mind and convert him into the perfect henchman.
The ritual was performed on Dalton, but something gone wrong and the resulting Slender being burst out without control, killing everyone on the building. The Slender being, now a mindless killer without past memories, fled out of the scene and hid in the suburbs.
During the following years, he lurked in dark alleys, luring unsuspecting preys to satisfy his killer impulses and regain some control over himself. He was seen a few times (it is unknown whether accidentally or intentionally), which helped to create the urban legend of The Alley Stabber."

- Notes: The fate of the Alley Stabber is unknown, as he ceased his activities in 1914 never to be seen again. New investigations by the Cult suggests that regained enough consciousness to contact with the remnants of his former gang in order to retire permanently. The version of the ritual used for the transformation could not be recovered, although his unstability makes it not worthy to be found.
